Risk Factors for Uterine Cancer

Endometrial cancer develops from abnormal cellular growth in the inner lining of the uterus and accounts for the majority of uterine cancer cases. It is typically diagnosed in women 50 and older. When diagnosed at an early stage before it spreads outside the uterus, endometrial cancer can be successfully treated using minimally invasive methods.

Introducing Dr.Stephenson!

GCPS is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Ruth Stephenson to our staff. Dr. Stephenson has an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the Rochester Institute of Technology and her medical degree from NYCOM. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center where she was trained and mentored by Drs. Denehy and Taylor. She then completed her fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of California-Davis and has returned to New Jersey to join her mentors.  » Read more about: Introducing Dr.Stephenson!  »
