Insurance We Accept at Gyn Cancer & Pelvic Surgery
Please familiarize yourself with your insurance plan and benefits covered. If your insurance is one that is participating with our physicians, you may be responsible to pay for any co-pay, deductible, and/or coinsurance as determined by your insurance company.
Note that patients with insurance plans with deductible, coinsurance and co-payment clauses will be required to pay those calculated amounts before or on the date care or service is delivered.
Refer to your plan documents or provider information websites to determine the applicable terms of your individual plan. Our financial representative will discuss your plans coinsurance, co-payments, deductibles, maximum out-of-pocket benefit with you during your initial consultation. They will calculate the approximate amounts you are responsible for and you will be expected to pay that amount prior to treatment or surgery.
If you have an insurance that is not one that we participate with, we will submit the claim for you. In this case our policy is that you pay at the time of service, unless payments have been approved in advance by our staff.
Unfortunately, some health insurance companies have reduced physicians’ reimbursements to such a level that we can only participate with certain carriers on an out-of-network basis. Our staff is compassionate and will diligently work with you concerning any out-of-pocket expenses you may incur. We encourage you to contact our billing department at 973-243-9300, ext. 106.
